What Jack needs is an excuse to leave town. Ever since rescuing four teenagers from a car wreck, he's been hailed as a hero and the attention is making him itchy, especially since his too-pretty ex-wife is back, angling for a reunion. He's always liked Emmaline. She needs a weekend date? No problem. So when they wind up in bed together, Em chalks it up to red wine and chocolate cake, just one impulsive night not to be repeated. But Jack's pushing for more, and if she lets down her guard, either she'll get her heart crushed again, or discover that Jack's worth more than just dreaming about.

LOVE this series....best one yet!!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I love the Holland family, Blue Heron Winery and Manningsport....this particular book, although it includes some very sad scenes, in large part is laugh out loud funny. I'm hoping there will be another book or two or three.....Connor still needs someone, and so does Jessica.......just a thought.
What does Amy Rubinate bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Amy Rubinate is AMAZING as narrator of this series. Although the books are a wonderful read, she adds life to the character and gives each character a uniqueness that would be missed otherwise.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
For the love of Blue Heron.

Any additional comments?
The idea of a rejected woman's attending the wedding of her ex-fiance is absurd. He was so very mean to her. There is absolutely no reason for her to go to his wedding to a woman who was also very mean to her. That is the beginning of this book. One of the other story lines, which is the male lead's tolerance of his ex-wife's attentions, is also absurd. These two absurdities ruined this book for me.
