Gripping storyline

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, it was appealing to all of the family. Made a long journey pass pleasantly.


Who was your favorite character and why?

El Gato, he was the main character and his narration kept us all gripped. Not all of us are football fans but his account of football games were mesmerising.


Which scene did you most enjoy?

His meeting with Paul Faustino in which he recounts the game and penalties.


If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

A page turner I wasn't expecting to enjoy! Highly recommend

Once I realised this was about football I thought I'd hate it but had to read it as part of our book challenge. But I loved it!! Well read and engaging story - I couldn't put it down.
