Summary

After a tragic miscarriage, Beth Tresaile returns to Owles House, the place of her miserable childhood, accompanied by her best friend, Kitty Copeland. Beth feels she can no longer go on unless she gets revenge on her estranged mother, Christina, who abandoned her on a cold winter’s night. But there are many shocks in store for Beth, who discovers that much of her childhood was built on deception.

Can we please have some indication of which books follow in a sequence!

It's very annoying to find that you've read a book and are now reading the previous book about the same characters. Please would it be possible for Audible to show which books come first etc... It wouldn't be that difficult to do, but would make reading them a lot more enjoyable. Thank you. I have mentioned this before!

Good story, although took a while getting to know who was who. Brilliant narration of Cornish accent.
