I bought this in a rush I just wanted something that was easy to listen to and enjoy. Listened for 2 hours and decided to give up. There wasn't much of a story just different locations for sex scenes. I didn't enjoy the narrator's presentation much either. Money back I think.
I stuck with the book(s) to the end, as a mildly amusing light read, but it failed to really draw me in. What could have been a very average soppy romance novel, was rallied only a little by introducing the dragon theme. It seemed to be satisfied with minimal excitement and gaps in the storyline where events are referred to as fait accompli when they might have added interest to the plot. 'Bonus chapters' instead of weaving parallel viewpoints into the main theme is just another opportunity lost. Ho hum.

Well, after listening and falling in love with Vivienne Savage's Beauty and the Beast, I thought I would really enjoy Loved by the Dragon, but honestly, I was disappointed. I know this is fiction and fantasy, but even for a PNR, this story felt far fetched, and has to be one of the quickest instant love stories I've ever listened too. Within a few hours of these characters meeting, they are sleeping together and declaring their devotion. The next morning, Chloe is freaking out about who and what Saul is, and then they don't see each other for a month, until she learns Saul is a rich. There was no real chemistry between the H/h. I did like the description of the dragon, the dragon's history and his hoard, but there wasn't enough of this to make the story interesting. I felt like I was forcing myself to listen, and wasting my time. This audio is made up of three stories. I made it to the middle of the second before I finally DNF this audio.
Now, I thought the narration was great! Shoshana Frank does a great job with both the female and male characters.
