Can't wait for Mad Love 2!
I love Jessica Almasy and usually enjoy an audiobook if she is the narrator. I was surprised to like this story as much as I did. A fast, fun read that will keep you entertained...worth the credit, in my opinion. You will find yourself giggling at the banter between characters and wishing for your very own Eric.
Really looking forward to book two. I hope they release it in audio format and have Jessica Almasy return as the narrator.

A fun romp in paradise
This book has been on my wishlist forever. I'm so glad I finally added it to my library. I only wish I had bought it sooner.
The dialog was quirky and funny. The cast of characters you meet are so lovable you will wish for Ms. Abedi to write books for each of them. I spent nearly the entire time listening to this book with a smile on my face.
In the realm of uber-rich, sexy, men with accents Mr. Clayton Sinclair is king. Actually, Lord in this particular case. His courtship of Sophie is like a modern-day fairy tale in the beatific setting of a posh resort in the Maldives complete with $10,000 bottles of Highland whiskey, haute couture, dinner on a yacht, and a private island retreat for two.
It ends with a dreaded cliffhanger and is immediately followed by a snippet of the opening chapter of book two.
Jessica Almasy did a great job with the narration. Her voice came off a bit screechy at times, but I think her voice and style of narration suited the character of Sophie quite well. Her male voices were good as well, and she handled a myriad of accents quite competently. My only issue was that some of Clayton's dialog was hard to hear. I found in situations where his character was speaking quietly, the combination of the accent and the whispering made the last one or two words of a sentence completely drop off to the point of being inaudible. Oh and, I was annoyed by her repeated mispronunciation of the word extraordinary.
Overall, a fun, romantic read. You'll be quick to download Mad Love 2 as soon as you reach the dreaded cliffhanger. Well worth my credit and time!
