"Coming home from work to find my boyfriend banging our hairy, married landlord - in our bed - was bad enough. Discovering Jamie had also cleaned out my bank accounts made it officially the worst day of my life. I think I can be forgiven for wanting revenge, even if a few little laws (and possibly Jamie's nose) got bent in the process.
"Fortunately, the law is on my side in the form of my oldest friend, Tony Gervase. I've tried to deny my attraction to the sexy trooper for years. After all, he made it clear long ago that he wasn't interested in me that way. But if the hot encounter in his kitchen is any indication, he is now. At least the day is ending a whole lot better than it began....
"But the morning after, the Jamie situation goes from bad to seriously messed up. The jerk's in more trouble than I could have imagined. And as it turns out, I don't know Tony as well as I thought I did, either."

A quirky turmoil of issues and the past catches up
It was good but no, I wouldn't listen to it again as there's many more titles that want to be heard.
Mark (the protagonist) because he can be quite funny and reckless, which is an interesting combo.
I liked how some parts where there's a funny remark that he takes the effort to make it so.
I have to proclaim that I enjoyed this Men of Smithfields book compared to Men of Smithfields: Seth and David. This book had a story that was explored. Behaviour that is more realistic to the characters and it didn't close of issues in the plot in a quick scene. I was dreading to listen to this because of my previous listen but I'm glad I did.
This book had me in stitches from start to finish!
At the moment easily in the top 5
Marks character, he was funny, impulsive and sexy as hell & i just love his act now think later attitude through the book
Shannon Gunn really bought all the characters to life, an amazing job especially with this story
I laughed a lot listening to this book, yes i was the crazy lady on the train & walking down the road laughing to herself, but it was so worth it!
