Publisher's Summary

In 1707, the HMS Association was lost with no survivors. Thirty years later, an admiralty clerk is tasked with a secret mission. And 200 years after that in 1996, a dive results in a fatal accident. Ten years later, an expatriate is called home to identify a woman he only vaguely recognizes. These seemingly disconnected events come together to form a trail of deceit, murder, and greed.

Good but not my favourite Robert Goddard

What did you like most about Name to a Face?

It's not my favourite of Robert Goddard's books, most of them I absolutely love! This one had too many plot twists for my liking, I mean obviously a few are expected but there were too many people telling too many lies to be beliveable... and no likeable characters at all! Mind you, I am a fully paid up member of the Harry Barnett fan club so nobody can really compare...

What about Andrew Wincott’s performance did you like?

I actually like Andrew Wincott's narration. It was actually quite refreshing to hear him doing something other than The Archers and I found his characterisation quite believable.
