A stunningly moving and poignant account of the effects of devastating war on the lives of real people

Marguerite Kaye is a personal favourite of mine and this trilogy of WWI stories is written in her unmistakable and empathetic style. I am delighted this favourite three-in-one book has been brought to life in audio. Charlotte Hill has done an excellent job in bringing a new dimension to this poignantly beautiful novel. Highly recommended.
