Summary

Jess and Mason begin their search for Faison and find themselves in a world where everything is turned upside down. Jess' relationship with Lucifer takes a turn she didn't expect, which prompts God to give her a mission she's not sure she'll survive.
This series is intended for a mature audience. Recommended for ages 17 and older due to sexual situations and adult themes.
If I were to use the movie rating system, I would rate this series an R.

Starting to stray from good ploy to sappy relationships

Okay...we I am still wondering how the story will end but losing interest in the storyline....
It is VERY unrealistic to think about sex in the middle of a major crisis.. I thought the story was about saving humanity and turned into trying to lose ones virginity ....in the middle possible Armageddon
Not to mention...., these fallen Angels don't seem to be crucial to the story nor have they learned their lesson from their Father as they are putting their own desires over saving the world. Who the heck cares if one has a girlfriend if the world is ending shortly

Interesting Plot ideas / Amateurish Writing

Any additional comments?

The overall plot of the series has some interest to it. But the bad writing ruins it. Character development is seriously lacking (especially for the non-main characters). And when it comes to the two main characters (Jess & Mason), the intimate banter between them is beyond awful. It feels like it was written by someone in high school. It's at times over the top syrupy sweet. And other times just ridiculous. Neither character is all that believable. Jess goes from trying to play the vixen, to not even able to say the word sex. And their term for having sex ("getting matches") was so over used it made me want to poke my eyes out. I wish the author would have not attempted to do a sexy-romance novel and instead just tried to better develop the actual plot of the story. The narration was surprisingly good given the poor source material the narrator had to work with.
