Summary

Olive Kitteridge er hovedpersonen i romanen af samme navn, der giver et billede af livet og dets forviklinger i den lille by Crosby, Maine, men det kunne være hvor som helst i verden. Olive er en pensioneret lærerinde, der står respekt om, og som mange frygter. Modsat sin mand Henry, apotekeren, der kommer godt ud af det med alle mennesker, har Olive en skarp tunge og kan være knortet som et gammelt oliventræ. Romanen fik strålende anmeldelser, er solgt til 28 lande, var blandt finalisterne da National Book Critics Circle Award skulle uddeles og løb af med den prestigefyldte Pulitzerpris i 2009.

NOT IN ENGLISH

What would have made Olive Kitteridge better?

I started listening and found I was hearing Swedish or something similar! Not made clear at all at time of buying! REFUND -PLEASE!
