Summary
Nearing the end of a suspended jail sentence should unlock a brighter future for CJ Davis, only the chip on his shoulder is as hard to shift as his bad reputation. Born into a family of career criminals who live down Davis Road, an address the cops have dubbed Davis Row, his name alone is like a rap sheet that makes optimism impossible.
Brand-new parole officer Noah Huxley is determined to see the good in men like CJ. After all, he knows firsthand that bad things can happen to good people. His colleagues mock his doe-eyed optimism, but Noah soon sees CJ's bad attitude and bravado are weapons he uses to keep people at a distance.
Both men know one simple mistake can change a life forever. At first glance, they might seem to be polar opposites. Yet underneath, they're not that different at all.

What a listen!
I absolutely loved this story from beginning to end couldn’t stop listening to it well actually the only time I paused it was while my AirPods where charging the ending was just beautiful and unexpected but also expected at same time if that makes sense well worth a listen really

Simply fabulous
This audible gave me the combination of a favourite author with my favourite narrator and it was as fabulous as I hoped it would be! Joel does an amazing job of bringing the characters to life. Loved every single second!!

Amazing,Adorable, and a Must listen
Have you Read the book and enjoyed it, Then Get this nothing more I can say on that matter.
(This has been on my night time Repeatable listen since I got it falling asleep to this book and the Narrators soothing voice is lovely)

Awesome Listen
The storyline was great, quite engaging and sorta unique. I had a slight problem with the narrator and I almost quit the book from the start but I'm glad I didn't. The book is worth a read though, don't miss out!

Worth a listen
This was a lovely book and well read. A bit loved up in places and I’m not sure about the ethical side of how they met. However was a good gay story -it kept me interested until the end

A solid sweet story
Enjoyed listening to this sweet love story. Joel Leslie’s narration is usually great, but he obviously doesn’t find it easy to pretend to not speak well with a common accent, or to be Italian, which was a bit distracting - but for most of the book he was still good. Worth a credit but won’t change your world or anything - just a nice listen.
