Summary

Charlie Brooks is used to the city life - not the slow, easy pace of small-town Wyoming. She's going to have to get used to it if she's going to last the summer in this tutoring job she's just taken, but maybe there are a few good reasons to stay.

First and foremost, there's Sally Sinclair. A training veterinarian who's a ray of light in the otherwise super-conservative mountain town, Charlie can't get enough of her company. Trouble is, for all her liberal views, Sally's still holding out for Prince Charming instead of Princess Charlotte.

Can Charlie stand the suffocating, claustrophobic pressure of closeted life in Bingham - and is it even worth it? Will Sally ever stop looking for Mr. Right and notice that Mrs. Right is right in front of her? It all remains to be seen. All Charlie knows for sure is that it's going to be one hell of a summer.

Not a book, a story, and not value for money

Not a book, more a rather sweet story and not a very well written at that. The narrator is quite sweet too but makes the whole thing sound really childlike. It's as though it was written and narrated by a 14 year old girl. Perhaps it was written by a teenage girl, I wouldn't know. It sent me to sleep though.

Great short.

This was a very different short. I've not had the opportunity to listen to a lot of Lesbian writing, but I'm not shy. So this was a great short, but it was just that. I could really see that this could be something much longer. However, I enjoyed both the narration and the story. Of course, it was a little exotic, and the characters were deep, which really made them stick in my mind because in a short you don't always expect them to be. Well done to both the writer and TJ because together this was very entertaining. I'll be looking for more from both writer and narrator.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
