Summary
A prominent figure amongst New York City's fashion elite, Elena Vega is a successful businesswoman and single mother to an adorable three-year-old son, Lucas. Her love life, however, is lacking, as those closest to her keep pointing out.
At the persistent urging of her closest friend, Elena reluctantly agrees to a string of blind dates if she can find a suitable babysitter for Lucas.
Enter Allison Sawyer, a free-spirited senior at New York University.
Elena is intrigued by Allison's ability to push her out of her element, and the young woman's instant and easy connection with a normally shy Lucas quickly earns Allison the job.
After each blind date, Elena returns home to complain to Allison about her lacking suitors. As they bond, Elena begins to realize that the person possessing all the qualities she most desires might just be the woman who has been in front of her the entire time.
The vast difference between the two women's social statuses, however, may be an obstacle not easily overcome.

Amazing!!!
I absolutely loved this book, and I have put it in my top three in my collection, and I have listened/read a lot of lesbian books. From the first chapter to the last; I could not stop listening to it; it had everything you want in a great book.
It had chemistry between all the characters, they were all brilliant. It was lovely to listen to a romantic, book with plenty of humour, this book had so many things happen that it had me on the edge of my seat and it played with all my emotions which makes it a fantastic listen. They start as a business relationship as Alison is hired to babysit Elena’s son Lucas while Elena goes out on dates, but you can feel the chemistry right from the start, that turns into friendship then love. The way Alison’s relationship with Elena and Elena’s son Lucas progressed through the book was super cute. I can really feel the love they share.
I will 100% be listening to this book again, and will be looking into buying more books by this author.
The narration is done by Kira Riley, I haven’t listened to her before and I just found out why this is as this is the only book on audible that she has narrated. She is an amazing talented narrator which made this book come to life, she is excellent at the different voices, and I hope if she reads this that you keep narrating lesbian audio books as I look forward to listening to more from you, and if any author of lesbian books read this you should contact her do the narration.

Awesome narrator excellent story
Very believable story sweet and loving. The narrator brought the words alive and I found it difficult to switch off the audio,highly recommended the book

Perfection
Loved this author for years and read this book more times than I can count. Got SOOOO excited when I discovered it had been released as an audiobook and bought it immediately!
Such a prefect storyline and the characters are great. The reader even kinda sounds like Anna Kendrick which is a perk for listeners :P

Lovely ......
lovely to listen to, with lovely characters. the narrator does the voices (especially Lucas) so well.
It's a happy book and I will go back to it from time to time !
