Alex rider. Review

This audiobook was the best audio book I have ever listened to because it has a great story line and the intensity is outstandingly good.. I just couldn't stop listening.. Recommended for people aged 10 and up due to gun violance and strong language .. Thanks solo much audible !!

Not sure this was the ending Rider deserved...

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I like the returning villain but the newly introduced did not feel that threatening somehow.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

It didn't feel all that satisfying, the natural climax of the story seemed to centre around the doppelgangers in the rain and everything after felt a little lacklustre.

What about Dan Stevens’s performance did you like?

Excellent diction and clearly differentiated character voices.

Did Scorpia Rising inspire you to do anything?

Not particularly, it's not a life changing read, it's a competent spy thriller.

Any additional comments?

The Alex Rider is a good choice for fans of the spy/action genre and is great for enticing young reluctant readers. This addition to the series has darker plot points, so perhaps is best suited to children over the age of 15.
