I loved learning about the relationship of Minnie and Snack from when they met as children to growing up together.
This was such an easy listen, that I managed it in one sitting (well, while doing housework etc, lol). Angie Hickman did a great job of bringing the story to life.
I have other books by Emme Burton that I've not yet read, but after listening to Snack they're definitely going to be next on my TBR list.

Cute love story with a bit of drama, bad timing and a lot of an again off again! I liked that this story tells us the past and present for these two characters. I love when a couple had a long history and I love a friends to lovers story but I gotta say something about the timing didn't work for me. I get that they were always meant to be together but I think it would have worked better if he had time to mourn before jumping in feet first. That for me made it feel like a rebound or something to the effect that he wasn't dealing with his reality. That is the only thing that really hurt this love story for me.
The narration was good, this is my first Angie Hickman and i enjoyed her work.

While the narration was great, too many things in the story rubbed me the wrong way. I was not a fan of the hero or the heroine. I think even though they had a past, they moved way to quickly in my eyes in the present. Snack was a jerk to me. He got in his own way and prevented him and Minnie from being a couple.
On a good note, I really loved the narration. This was my first book from this narrator and I believe she did a great job. Look forward to listening to more books from her.
