Really cool

I bought this book for two reasons. The strongest draw being Samuel West as narrator. He never disappoints me, he is a fantastic reader and does a fantastic job with this book. The other reason I bought it was I was intriguied. A lot of people around me told me Faulks really wasn't a great writer etc and I wanted to see if they were right. So from the brief synopsis this seemed to me out of all his books the one I would like the most.

I found that it was a well constructed and engaging story, obviously brought alive by West's reading, and I am glad to have bought it. It is well worth reading - the growing relationship between the two main protaganists builds with delicate suspense and tension that it makes it irresistable to listen to. I recommend to anyone who enjoys a complicated romance story.
