Summary

A classic Agatha Christie short story, available individually for the first time on digital audio, performed by Christopher Lee.

Mrs Lancaster doesn’t believe in ghosts. She moves her family into a house that has been derelict for years, unconcerned about the story of the young boy who lived there and starved to death. But her own young son is fascinated by his new friend that lives in the attic all alone…

Critic reviews

"The plots are so good that one marvels...most of them would have made a full length thriller." (Daily Mirror)

Spiritual and a bit scary

First time it make me cry next time a bit of hope... will see what will be next.

Not as good as anticipated

The narration was great but the story was simplistic and not to the standard expected from such a great author,

Don't listen in the dark

Absolutely brilliantly read, very well written story of course but whatever you do don't listen in the dark or if you get scared easily.

A different Agatha Christie story

Haunting story beautifully narrated by Christopher Lee. Different to the other longer more well known novels but perfect for a short break in your day .
