Brilliant story, brilliantly narrator had me gripped from beginning to end
Shame it had to end

This book has it all for me, struggles, heartbreak, love and loss, motherhood. Pain friendship.
I loved the story, the narration the jumps twists and turns.
And I identified with parts of the book myself.

Any additional comments?
I probably would have enjoyed this story more if I hadn't listened to an audio version. The narrator was fantastic except for one important thing- she smacks her tongue and lips every time she voices a characters, and if you are anything like me, it will make you crazy. Not sure why they can't edit that stuff out in this day and age.

If you could sum up The Letter in three words, what would they be?
Entertaining & well written if a little contrived. This was quite an enjoyable story with all of the loose ends neatly tied up.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The very audible lip smacking, breathing, noisy nasal inhalations/exhalations, and other moist mouth sounds almost made this book unbearable. Turning the volume down didn't help because the audio levels were all over the place with low-talking and whispering.
