Yes to both. Sylvain Reynard never fails in his stories. His writing is prose that can touch the soul, whether it’s the romance between Acacia and Nicholas or artwork. His philosophy is to explore the human condition through art, suffering, love, sex, faith and redemption.
He takes on a journey to Paris, Switzerland and other points of in the world. His writing is intelligent and evokes one to look at the world through a different eye.
Robertson Dean is incredible in his performance of reading this wonderful book.

I wasn't sure where the book was going in the beginning. The story has lots of twist and turns. But it a good way. I love Sylvain Reynard style of writing . You are pulled in the story with the details he gives you. The way the love story is unfolded is beautiful and heartfelt. I love that you were not left with a cliff hanger. I love when the story goes on in another book but not when your left waiting too long for the next book to come out. Great book.
