ok but not her best

Follows the general Nora Roberts formula, but several scenes have been lifted straight out of previous books. Maybe I've got used to the tension and suspense in her J D Robb books, but I found the storyline bland and the passion between the characters lacking.

Narration was not bad, but it was difficult to hear the difference between characters in conversations as her female voices sounded too similar.

Overall ok, but not a patch on her Chesapeake novels or the High Noon era writing.

love Nora Roberts!

I really enjoy Nora Roberts and have since reading her in the Mills and Boon series. the performance was great! I always knew who was being read so characters didn't get muddled.

the story had me on the edge of my seat at times, which I like.

altogether a good listen.
