Wanda, the daughter of glassblowers, on both sides, has returned from Italy with little Sylvie, following the death of Aunt Marie . . . living with her father in Lauscha, helping with his glassblowing business, Wanda and Sylvie bring life into the little cabin where her father, grandfather, uncle and aunt live . . . when the local foundry is put up for sale, the town is suddenly fearful of what the new owner will do . . . and Wanda and the glassblowers set out to try to purchase it themselves, causing a rift between Wanda and her fiancee, Richard. An old and evil enemy appears out of the woodwork . . . and, alas, (a part that I found a little too predictable) their plans were thwarted . . . BUT, lo and behold . . . it was as it should be . . . because, I would have never in a million years been able to write or imagine a better ending to the terrible mess . . . great story and great conclusion to the trilogy . . . Bravo!
