What a great read!
This book inspired me to continue trusting God no matter what happens and to know that maybe I am influencing others who haven't yet expressed it. I only wish it had been an unabridged version.

A Sure Cure For Optimism
Have you ever been told you are so heavenly minded you are no earthly good? Do people look at you and comment on your happiness or joy? Do sunrises bring you a sense of peace with limitless potential? Are you guilty of being a called a hopeless romantic who sees good in everything from thunder clouds to bee stings?
Well, my friends, if that is you, this book is your sure cure. In this book, the characters do not just have half empty glasses, the other half of their glasses are filled with hemlock. Jerry Jenkins is a great writer who has brought us some wonderful literature. And to be completely honest, there are about ten minutes at the end of this book that are actually powerful and poignant. But other than that, it seems as if Mr. Jenkins had an arrangement with his publishers to be paid by how many dead bodies he could scatter along the way; hence the title, Though None Go With Me. In the end there was no almost one left to go with anyone. This book makes Saving Private Ryan and The Killing Fields seem like Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. In fact Mr. Jenkins killed so many people off, that constantly coming up with new ways to do them in was getting a bit tedious.
In the future, if ever I need to be brought down, I will do something easy like walk off a bridge, or sky dive without a chute. But I will not recommend this book.
My advise to you. Just walk in busy traffic. it will be cheaper.
