Summary

Do you ever wish you had the chance to meet someone again for the first time?

When Leo and Molly met and married, they believed they were invincible. Together they could take on the world. But Leo, a war correspondent, lives for life on the edge, and when he takes a step into the unknown, tragedy strikes and he loses his memory. Molly rushes to help him fill in the gaps and soon they start falling in love all over again.

The trouble is, Molly is hiding something. Something big. The devoted wife at Leo's bedside is a sham; Leo and Molly's marriage was on the rocks long before Leo's accident.

The closer Molly gets to her husband, the more scared she becomes that he will remember. As Leo's memory begins to trickle back, will Molly lose the man she loves for a second time?

An emotional, heartbreaking listen that will restore your faith in the power of love.

If you like to lose yourself in Jojo Moyes or Nicholas Sparks then you will love When I Lost You, the deeply moving new novel from Kelly Rimmer.

Nice story

The story was lovely, but the narrator was quite annoying, it took a while to get used to listening.

Wonderful Emotional Story When I Lost You.

Where does When I Lost You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I really enjoyed When I Lost You. It was a real emotional read. I would rate this one up there with my favourite.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Molly and Leo as characters because though out the story you could feel their points of view very clearly and empathise with both character at different times.

Which character – as performed by Brigid Lohrey – was your favourite?

Molly because I felt her voice was very clearly hers throughout the story.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Don't let differences stand in the way of true love.

Any additional comments?

Do You Believe in Love, 1st or 2nd Time Around?

If you could sum up When I Lost You in three words, what would they be?

Tragedy, Secrets, Love.

What was one of the most memorable moments of When I Lost You?

I don't want to give any spoilers but the moment they are in the apartment and Leo uses all his strength to prove to Molly that he is the man she loves, her expression tells him all he needs to know and her reasoning is heartbreaking .. to her she thinks it means he will be able to walk away again.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The innocence at the start of their 'relationship', they meet to talk about Duncan, Molly's brother and Leo's friend. He is dead and Molly wants details but during this you get a sense of the intense chemistry building between the two characters. I loved the fact Leo thinks she is beautiful but out of his reach. Two sides of the great wealth divide.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Marriage in Crisis ..

Any additional comments?

This is a wonderful story focusing on Molly and Leo, it is taken from both POV's and set in two time periods. Leo is severely injured in a car crash while working away as a correspondent out in the 'field'. Molly rushes to his bedside, but Leo has lost his memory and ability to walk. Set in Australia, these two are poles apart she is the daughter of rich parents, he has roots in the black community but their love sparkles. While Leo recovers Molly remains by him but is hiding a huge secret, as his memories return will their relationship survive? I found Leo fairly arrogant and he didn't respect Molly. How she tolerated some of his outbursts I don't know. This book covers so many emotions and had my heart beating quickly or standing still on quite a few occasions. I found it perfect as an audio book because I could immerse myself in the story and really feel a part of it. Thanks so much to Kim at Bookouture for my audiobook in return for my honest opinion.
