Series 10 and as good as ever

You'd think that by series 10, Ed Reardon would be running out of steam but far, far, from it.

The themes are familiar - Ed is still rooting around in bins to supplement his income as a writer. His agent, Ping, is as useless and as wonderful as ever whilst his verbal sparring with best friend Jaz Milvane continues with precision brutality.

The stories are well written, thoughtful, funny and really do stand up to repeat listening. As I'm sure Ed would wholeheartedly agree, he really is great value for money.

As it's a BBC production, the quality is perfect and the performances from the cast are sharp.

If you're an Ed fan (and if you've got to series 10 then you almost certainly are), then you'll be delighted that there are certainly hints of series 11 in the narrative.

Fingers crossed...

Another winner for Ed Reardon

Any additional comments?

There aren't enough superlatives to describe the genius of the writing and performances here. They are absolutely faultless. I listen to them over and over and still hear subtleties I have missed before. Wonderful stuff. More please!
