A Passionate Tale of The Value of Trust.
I'm already a fan of Felicity Heaton's writing style and I loved that this story. I was already in love with Grave Van de Garde and couldn't wait to get under his skin! This tale didn't disappoint.
Great world building as always, multi dimensional strong characters that I want to find out more about and a gripping background story! I really enjoyed the narration by Eric G Dove and feel that he really managed to bring Grave to life. I liked Dove's reading pace, the subtle tonal variations he used during the different scenes and the way he adjusted his voice for the characters' dialogue.
Haunted by the King of Death is a tale of the complexities of relationships, the internal and external battles that determine our character and the fragile nature of trust. But of course, as with all of Heaton's tales, it's a beautiful love story with a happy ever after ending.
As with all of Ms Heaton’s books, due to the graphic violence and sexual content, I’d recommend this book to adults only who are fans of relationship and romance stories with a bit of fire and passion.
