Cobbled together and rushed

Most of the text appears to have been shoddily translated from French. For example, "casein intolerance" (which in French would be "intolérance à la caséïne") becomes, in the text, "casein bigotry" (uh?). So I must often back-translate what is said into French to figure out what the author meant.
The narrator does not help the book much: he often talks about HDHD instead of ADHD, and the whole section on meditation is read as "medication"... right at the start of the chapter that describes non-medication options ! He also has no sense of rhythm and reads every sentence in one of three repetitive patterns, which makes it hard to concentrate on what he says (which, in a book devoted to an audience with ADHD, is a fatal flaw).
In general, the book has the feel of something cobbled together and rushed.

Though informative, archaic language and poor narration was so distracting it was hard to finish (& I don't have ADHD). Words were mispronounced and even incorrectly read -for example: "medication" was repeatedly spoken in a chapter on meditation.
