Summary

In this lucid classic, beloved teacher Ayya Khema introduces the listener to the essence of the Buddhist path. She addresses the how and why of meditation, providing a clear framework for understanding the nature of karma and rebirth and the entirety of the eightfold path. With specific, practical advice, Ayya Khema illuminates the practices of compassion and sympathetic joy, and offers forthright guidance in working with the hindrances that we all encounter in meditation. Few introductory books are both simple and profound. Being Nobody, Going Nowhere is both.

Books great

Books great, nice cover and paper. This is quite flat sounding but it strangely work well, fall asleep sometimes and wake up like 'wtf is going on here?!, who is she?!' quite robotic, you get to like her after a while, Dharma-bot 4000... 😬👍 I want one, follow me!

The only book you will ever need.

This is a straightforward book that gets to the very heart of the meaning of Dharma and why we should practice. You will not find a better more straight talking teacher. Listen and put the teachings into practice and you will find that these are not just empty words.
