to many narrated stories not enough practicality

I am stopping in chapter 3. I keep waiting To get To the better part but I am tired of the all over the place content, I understand the referances but if you are a straightforward person this book is not for you. To many narrated stories not enough practicality. Lots of expressed opinionated observations as if to pursuae rather that to provide informative information on how to actually foster confidence in a child. Book is more on critisim of the affect on society and how children's worth or effected by it. I'm bored and uninformed on my intended purpose of purchasing this book. It can serv as a good sociology purpose but not for the title it says.

Disappointed

Was really disappointed with his explanation of homosexuality, the explanation discredits the rest of the book. Not sure if the rest of the book is science based or religious based. I'm a Catholic person but still understand there are some things that need to be explained correctly.
