This is my first encounter with the Tao, although I had seen a program about Taoism on television. The verses are like little poems, quite beautiful in their simplicity and ring of truth. I feel that I have known these truths always, but I didn't know that I knew them until now. The chant of 'Tao' after each verse gives one time to meditate on the verse. I recommend this for anyone who feels that he or she would like to become a better person.
