Giving up on the wait after experiencing so many failures, perceived betrayals, and overall heartache? Or not interested in any pursuit of any sort? it’s weird how anyone of any age could relate and understand to some degree, but come to the same conclusion. This is hope rekindled and a fire of inspiration set alight in the heart. God sent Authors. This is one for the masses... not just the chosen people.
Hey, just finished the book... the last part "now what" was just epic... something out of a fairy tale this book. But you really had to take it chapter by chapter to really appreciate the journey.
Jeff and Alyssa don't describe their relationship as a dream, but as the reality of siblings (children of God) that just happen to be a lot more self aware of their duty and ability to give to each other. They're not destined partners they're just people that chose each other and committed to that, they didn't start out perfect but like two pieces of sand paper the wore each other's differences away; not till they weren't existent but till they had both learned to accept and love their difference and those began to perfect them in the way that God pictured marriage- one perceived flaw complimenting a perceived another's weakness. A method of perfecting... creating perfect love that would be capable of affecting the world. Leading to books like this, as though they were orchestrated by God himself.
Love doesn't give up, it isn't selfish... but in the same way unrequited love is a burnden to the giver. Marriage is the covenant that destroys blurred lines, and gives life to a decision to become one in everything.
What an incredible book, everything they say is so encouraging! Loved hearing their story about how they met and how the Lord worked in both of their lives. Thank you Jeff and Alyssa for the book that I really needed. 😊

Excellent book! I love the way Alyssa and Jeff constantly point to Jesus! Their openness and “realness” is so refreshing! Definitely would recommend this book!
