Publisher's Summary

Marie Kondo is a life changer who has devoted 80 percent of her life to the study of tidying as well as teaching it. Although people may be skeptical as to why a person would spend her life on such a subject, Kondo has developed a fool-proof method. The secret to success is to discard the things you don't need, then organize as you go. Now that may seem simple, but it is easier said than done, and this is what Kondo has come to realize through her own experiences. This is not just an audiobook about keeping your home clean.

Kondo not only provides you the path to a well-kept environment, but her method also allows you to change your lifestyle and your perspective for the better. She has deducted that when you put your house in order, you put your affairs and your past in order, too. It is a guide audiobook to help you acquire the right mindset to be a tidy person. Interesting but didn't like the narrator

I found the narrator difficult to listen to. I found her voice irritating and felt that had a negative impact on the book. The subject matter was quite interesting and time will tell if the techniques are successful.

Grateful

I was grateful to have this summary rather than read the whole book, mostly found it useful and full of common sense but took away a few details I'll consider further
