I may not agree with all of Dr. Laura's politics, but at the same time I've never been able to turn the dial when I've caught her talk radio show and she's moved me to tears on more than one occasion. In Ten Stupid Things Women Do to Mess Up Their Lives, Dr. Laura continues to move me, while often making a lot of sense. After all, how many times do we find ourselves dishing out ineffective advice about men, jobs, and general misery when we really want to tell our women friends and loved ones to stop feeling sorry for themselves and "get a life"? Patronising tone not for everyone

Some good thoughts but not sure most people would feel included. For the women stuck in their relationship, not sure what to do.

Awakening

Some of the reviews on this book mentioned that Dr. Laura is a hating on women and belittling them. On the contrary, I took it as a pep talk! Women don't always want to hear the truth about their feelings because it hurts too much so they push them aside. However, if you honestly listen to this book with an open mind instead of being defensive, you will find the power it holds to helping women change their thought process towards relationships.
