Summary
"You know those people who always radiate cheerful optimism? Nauseating, aren't they?" So proclaims Isabel Losada, Starbucks addict, exercise-allergic and self-confessed sceptic as she sets out on the road to enlightenment. This work is suitable for those who have been tempted to dip a toe in the waters of self-discovery.

Insightful, Humorous, Eloquent. Lightly humorous, gently insightful, beautifully read by the author.

There's nothing else in my audio library quite like this book.
Have you listened to any of Isabel Losada’s other performances? How does this one compare?
This is Isabel's first Audible book ... and I sincerely hope not her last!

Love this very engaging and thought provoking as well as occasional laugh out loud. Really well written and I really enjoyed Isobels style.

She's brilliant
I loved Isabel's books, but hearing her read her own book is even better. She's passionate, funny and interesting, and I highly recommend this! You might even learn a thing or two about yourself, too!

Very Convincing Performance by the Narrator
The narrator in this Audio version seems to understand Isabel very well and gives a very convincing performance as Isabel. So convincing intact that it could almost be the author herself reading it. ;-)

Inspiring 💕🙋🏼
I read Isabel's book after hearing her talk about it on Steve Wright's radio show. It's super inspiring & funny & has found its way on to my shelf of favourites 🙋🏼💕 Now having the audio book is fabulous because Isabel's voice is great & I don't need to wear my glasses 😂

Where does The Battersea Park Road to Enlightenment rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Battersea Park Road to Enlightenment is funny, witty and so engaging. It made me smile and cry. :) I would have liked it to go on forever. This is a book I get for my friends birthday and Christmas. I highly recommend this Audiobook!
What about Isabel Losada’s performance did you like?
The voice is relaxing and engaging. It's also really nice to hear the writer herself go through the story.

Hopelessly biased but I loved every minute!!
I am the last person to write an objective review as I own all of Isabel's books and have been on her Life Kickstart workshop too. It had been a while since reading this particular one and I especially enjoyed little details I had forgotten. Isabel attends a whole range of courses and seminars I would chicken out of and I love going on second-hand adventures with her, same as I love the armchair travel of a good subtitled film from an exotic land. Her spirit which is so full of life and openness to new experiences is captured really well both in the words and her unique delivery of them. This really is a treat!

Road to Battersea (of enlightenment)
My wife and I enjoyed listening to Isabel read to us very much (she's a natural story teller). I didn’t think I would be able to just sit and listen, but Isabel made the experience relaxing and fun, even thought we had read the book ourselves a few years ago (it was great to revisit); now I’m hooked.
