This is a book I would have dipped into rather than read straight through if I had bought a hard copy. It had a lot of statistics which I did not need to hear and I may have given up on it if faced with the chore of reading, however as an audio book it was very interesting and reinforced information I had gleaned from other sources. It still takes a dedicated effort to change your life, it is not an easy fix, but definitely worth listening too.
It brought home to me how many of the problems we suffer are the result of the bad habits we develop without giving conscious thought to what we consume and why, and this can be reversed with dedication in the right direction
Mark Hyman is so enthusiastic about the message he conveys that it is hard not to feel caught up in this. A visit to his clinic would be on my to do list if I ever win the lottery.
