This is a fun book. Living in a place where winter can be brutal I valued the imminent of how to adjust some worry with bliss that doesn't take much. It is elegantly composed and incorporates formulas and it isn't only for winter. It is about family and companions and appreciating the organization of both doing "hygge" like exercises.

Exllant book!

Thorough, clear, and with a sprinkling of snark make this the best book I've read on "hygge," and I've read LOTS of them. Still looking for someone who can translate the concepts of summer hygge-ing from the cool, crisp woodlands and beaches of Scandinavia to the soggy, humid, bug-infested backyards of America though.
