A bit daunting but worth reading it once

I was skeptical about this book at first. The only reason i bought it cos iam interested to know more about the sub conscious mind.I read few reviews on amazon about the title and decided to buy. The opening few chapters are bit daunting and reminded me of "the power of positive thinking" by Norman vincent peale. In heinsight book is worth reading it rather listening it unless you are making notes. T

What a robotic voice !!!

Sad that such a classic and brilliant book (which I have in paper form) has been read here by someone who hasn't a clue on how to read in an interesting and non-robotic manner.

I truly wonder whether he is out to just get through it whilst trying to mimic a machine....

Self-talk classic sold short

Ive read this book at least 6 times over 20 years. I adore it. The contents mean a lot to me - because they have improved my life in so many ways. My hopes were very high for this absolute classic of what to say when you self-talk. Maybe I was expecting too much - because ultimately, I was disappointed. I found the narrator Jason McCoy did not understand what he was reading. Even though he is an experienced speaker, he in-correctly pronounced many names and spoke far too rapidly; even nervously. I feel that this information needs far more CARE with its contents. There was no love in Jason's voice. He just sounded as though he wanted to get the whole exercise over and done as soon as possible.

This is a terrible audio book

In at least three cases the speaker does not know the material #EXAMPLE, when referring to Sigmund Frued of Austria the speaker said "Sigmund Freed of AUSTRALIA"
I think a computer does the speaking as its choppy and the voice inflection and rythem is off. Do not buy this book.
