Summary
Still grieving the loss of her sister who died two years ago, the last thing Veronica "Ronnie" Locke needed was to lose her job at one of Chicago's finest restaurants and have to move back in with her parents. So when a window of opportunity opens for her - running a kitchen at a small Hawaiian hotel - she'd be crazy not to take it. The only problem is, the man running the hotel drives her crazy: Logan Shephard. Heartwarming!
This story hit me to my core. I loved it! The characters were funny, real and memorable. The relationship between the protagonists had the right amount of angst and their union was earned. I love Karina Halle's books. The narrator Emma Wilder was also awesome! She did a seamless Aussie male voice. Very charming! She brought Karina's words to life well. ❤️

marvellous novel
kept me totally engrossed all the way through. As soon as I saw Emma Wilders name as narror she is a fabulous no matter what she narrates just love her accent.
