Summary

As Tudors go, Elizabeth of York is relatively unknown. Yet she was the mother of the dynasty, with her children becoming King of England (Henry VIII), Queens of Scotland (Margaret) and France (Mary Rose) and her direct descendants included three Tudor monarchs, two executed queens, and ultimately, the Stuart royal family.

Interesting book, terrible quality recording.

The worst sound quality I have encountered on audible. Such a shame because it detracts so much from the interesting content. Tinny and harsh with narration full of mispronunciations or variable pronunciation of the same word. Sounds like a satnav reading the book.

Hard to listen to

Would you try another book from Amy Licence and/or Debra Burton?

No

How could the performance have been better?

The narrator on all oh books is terrible. Sounds like talking into a tube. So hard to listen to.

Audio is curtain call

The reading of this text is hollow. Did not even want to give a try. Low quality, living room, recording.
