Summary

Amazing story of ex military hero's

Unsung Anti-terrorist heroes.
I was enthralled by this book. It quickly became one of the few I couldn't stop listening to. The fighting action was totally realistic and the very detailed background information on the the religious and terrorist groups was very informative. The profound honesty of the author came through and I felt his pain as he contemplated suicide. I did find the narration far too upper class for the hard fighting Royal Marine Commando non-commissioned officer, but more like the voice of a senior commissioned officer, however it didn't spoil a great book.

Goog story, but the narrater is crap.
Awesome story. Crap narrater. He sounds like Stephen Hawkings voice machine, it put me off.

Fascinating story not sure about the narrator.
Really interesting stories, the other side of the Benghazi Embassy incident was especially eye opening. My only issue was the choice of narrator who seemed to deviate between quite a posh accent when telling the stories to attempts at London accents when relating dialogue and pretty much all points of the vocal compass inbetween. just felt the narration took something away from the honesty of the storytelling.

Regardless if fake or not enthralling story
I have read a lot reviews before purchasing zero footprint. And they all hated it saying that this novel is not a work of fact but rather a work of fiction. I cannot attest to the validity of this piece of work. After reading it I realized I didn't care if it is the real exploits of a PMC but to me it was an enthralling tale from start to finish. So if it is fact then it's an amazing story and one of the most entertaining retellings of the modern day mercenary. If it's a work of fiction then great writing I really enjoyed it and would love a sequel. In the end I really enjoyed the novel regardless if it is fact or fiction.

Brilliant Book
