Inspiring

I was already doing some of the things in this book, but have taken things to the next level and my dog bloody loves it. even after a couple of days of playing more and using her meals and training time, she is exhausted.

However my dogs main problem is when dogs come up to her, and there is no advice to tackle this. So we just try to avoid other dogs, which isn't always easy!

Bloody Brilliant

This book is FANTASTIC!! Extremely entertaining & practical to help you get back on track to enjoy the pleasure of dog ownership!!
It’s unlike any other dog training book out there - you won’t hear any training technical terms that confuse the hell out of you. It’s real life scenarios of what pet dog owners go through & the problems they face. Each chunk is broken down of actions you can take to improve your relationship with your dog, from understanding why your dog is acting out, to what drives your dog & how to overcome many problems that can make dog ownership a bit of a nightmare.
Dom’s style really engages with you & is comedy gold at the same time.
Grab your cape & get ready for your journey to becoming your dogs superhero!!

First time I've ever had an audio book and loved it .... being able to read a book without having to find my reading glasses, listening to it in the car and doing my house work and ironing at the same time was great, plus I got to finish the book in quick time so I could put all I learnt from the book into practice!!

Fabulous!

This is well worth a listen for all those dog owners who are frustrated whenever their dog is off lead and totally ignoring them!! ... and for any dog owner just looking to build their relationship with their dog in positive way.
Dom makes it simple to follow, lots of fun (for you and your dog) and easy to succeed & be rewarded with progress with small steps along the way - just like great dog training!

Essential reading for dog owners.

What did you like most about How to Be Your Dog's Superhero?

Dominic Hogson hits the nail on the head with this book. One of the best books I have read on what makes a dog tick. I loved the emphasis on play and bonding, and it is now an essential piece of kit for my puppy intake class. If you are raising a dog this is the manual.

What did you like best about this story?

If you want to build a good relationship with your dog, this really is a fantastic book. Dom takes you back through all the basics, but helps you to see it from a slightly different viewpoint than you were perhaps taught at puppy class or read in your early puppy books. He does it with such a lovely style of humour you can't help but snort or chuckle out loud. It is a refreshing change to many books that feel the need to pack them full of scientific terms, of which I have read 100's. The approach is simple, clear and above all else FUN! If you embrace the book how it is intended, really have a go, I don't think there are any bad habits you couldn't correct. What has really struck me is my blood pressure has dropped, walks are less stressful, I am having more fun with my dogs and they are a joy to be with and I think they are a whole lot happier. If you want to have a better relationship with your dog and be his/her superhero then whatever you spend on this book is money well spent in my humble opinion. I can't wait to reread the book and do more.TTFN off to go and find some more Kryptonite and BMFI!

Must read if you want the best for your dog

This is the most down to earth and easily understood training guide I have ever read. Dom Hodgson's narration is both clear and entertaining. If you own a dog then this is the guide for you!
