Summary
In the age of information overload, traditional time management techniques simply don't cut it when it comes to overflowing inboxes, ever-expanding to-do lists and endless pointless meetings. Thankfully there is a better way: the way of the productivity ninja. Using techniques including ruthlessness, mindfulness, Zenlike calm and stealth and camouflage, you will get your inbox down to zero, make the most of your attention, beat procrastination and learn to work smarter, not harder. Written by one of the UK's foremost productivity experts, How to be a Productivity Ninja is a fun, accessible and practical guide to staying cool, calm and collected, getting more done and learning to love your work again.

Excellent and immensely practical
This book is written by a U.K. author and is free from some of the "live your dreams" and pseudo-religious idioms that plague American publications. This is essentially a very practical guide about being productive and organised. I suppose it's a time management book but is much more detailed and useful than most publications on the genre that follow only the GTD methods. Without going into great detail it assists you in designing your own personalised but flexible organisational systems, written primarily with work in mind but equally applicable to personal life. Excellent, specific and readily applicable advice throughout, it is also realistic in its aims and advice offered; accepting and working with the imperfections of our human mind and covering topics such as distractions and procrastination. Good advice on email and meetings. I really enjoyed this book having read many Time Management books over the years. It's differentiators are that it is UK focused and very specific and practical. I have instigated quite a number of its recommendations myself. Enjoy!

Good in parts but far too long.
The essential point which I took from this book was that you only have so much proactive attention in a day and that time needs to be protected and used wisely.
While there are other nuggets, much of the book fails to hit the mark. Perhaps it was just lost on audio but the authors system of organisation, Master Projects Lists, Daily Lists, Weekly Lists, dedicated thinking time each week just seems over prescriptive, especially for a business owner where the nature of the work can be extremely changeable and an element of thinking on ones feet is required.
Personally, I'm fairly organised anyway, I will take away some good points from this book, however the one size fits all system just seems a little too cumbersome for its own good.

Better as physical book
I liked this book a lot as someone who read a lot of productivity books. but I think due to lots of exercises and systems it's better consumed in a paper format.

Good book but..
I enjoyed this book and gained a couple bits of valuable information from it but felt that not all of it was applicable to me. Would be brilliant for someone who works in an office environment though.

Great book, great narration
Loved this book and the narrator made it all the more enjoyable. The concept is common sense as the author tells us, but is a great reminder and a call to action. The narration was wonderful and made the book all the more enjoyable. I have now bought the physical book to focus on the exercises and will bore anyone who will listen about what a positive and funny book this is. buy it

Beyond brilliant!
One of the best productivity and time management books I've ever read. I'd advise this to anyone looking to take control of their day and their time!

This is largely "how to be a hideous person"
it's an interesting window into the mind of a hideous middle manager.
lots of tips like "don't waste time talking to people who can't give you anything", "always ask for forgiveness rather than permission" and the like.
This book might make you more productive but it'll also make you someone no one wants to work with or for.

...
Some very good ideas but boy does it drag on and on and on, zoned out at times as just not succinct. Some decent thoughts.

Revolutionised my working life
This has completely reset my thinking about how I handle, manage and follow through (and now review) my work. Before I'd only ever dreamed of getting my inbox down to less than 100, within only a few hours (which including undoing some of my previous habits of having up to five levels of sub folders) it was down to less than 20! Amazing! I feel so invigorated and released that I am able to get on with all of the real work I have had to fit in before.
