Time Travel with William Wallace 💕
This is book 2 in this series and is a must listen for anyone who loves Scottish history. This is a well written, fast paced epic time travel love story that is filled with descriptive characters and an engaging plot. I appreciate how the author was very respectful of the history of William Wallace while adding some imaginative scenarios that are both interesting and unique. I especially enjoyed the ending.
The narration by Dave Gillies was very well done. 😊
I recommend this series for those who enjoy midevel time travel love stories. Oh and This book is more for adults as it has some sex scenes and language.

"Braveheart" meets "Somewhere In Time"
What made the experience of listening to In the Kingdom's Name the most enjoyable?
I always enjoy historic fiction because it fills in the holes in the stories of our favorite heros and presents their doubts and weaknesses in a way we can identify with. Historians record triumphs and failures but not emotion. This story brings William Wallace to life in a way we can understand.
What was one of the most memorable moments of In the Kingdom's Name?
I can't say without spoiling the story for future readers but suffice to say there is an unexpected ending, both poignant and promising.
Which scene was your favorite?
I enjoyed the peace of the characters while they were in the Orkneys.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Theirs was a love that spanned all time and boundaries.
Any additional comments?
I loved this series. Like the "Outlander" series and "Wuthering Heights" I will listen again and again.
