Newly admitted attorney Page Davenport is willing to do anything it takes to get out from under her father's thumb and finally prove herself in his law firm - anything except represent the infamous miscreant, Jackson "The Mauler" Malone. Despite her protests, Page is powerless to avoid becoming the sacrificial lamb, the token female, who will be the face of the violent, angry neanderthal's defense team.
Jax is a bad boy with a temper, doing whatever the hell he wants in life while flipping the bird at all his haters. Page is the prim and proper rich debutante her parents want her to be. They've been pulling her strings, telling her what to do, where to go to school, what to wear, and even who she should marry.
Page and Jax struggle to work together, engaging in a knockdown drag-out fight for dominance. When they finally stop taking swings at each other, they're both surprised to realize that sometimes first impressions are completely wrong. In fact, opposites really do seem to attract. However, there are lines that attorneys and their clients can never cross if Page wants to keep her license to practice law.
Will Page risk it all and submit to the cocky fighter? Or will Jax's temper and jealousy prove too much for her to take on outside of the courtroom?
Either way, one thing is for sure - neither Page nor Jax are going down without a fight. In the end, the secret for them to find heaven may be to battle their way through hell first.

Loved this MMA fighter romance
Great characters and a fast paced plot.
I was hooked from start to end.
Looking forward to Judes story, he made me chuckle numerous times. Jax was hot and I loved the chemistry between him an Paige.
Brilliant narration that brought the characters to life.

DEFINITELY HOT & COCKY
Loved JAXson Malone. Adored his character MMA medium weight Fighter, No matter what a Manwhore he is (& I do mean he was VERY promiscuous) & how moody he was, but heck he is a very protective & loving man towards the people he loves & cares for.
Then there's fairly new attorney Page Davenport, whose father gets her to represent Jax, though she knows he wants her to fail & loose the battle to keep Jax out of prison for the allegation of 'Rape & Assault' & heck she really didn't like him at first sight. And it's here through he determination that she was going to do the BEST investigation as she can no matter what comes out of it, if he's guilty or innocent.
So we see these 2 perception of each other do a 360 turn around.
And then there's Jude Jax's younger brother welter weight MMA Fighter. He's such a sweet adorable character whom I'm looking forward to hear his story.
My 1 little downturn is that I hated where it ended, but that's just me wanting that little bit more.
REALLY RECOMMEND IT

Any additional comments?
This was a really good book by Lane Hart The story line was interesting and the characters were well developed. I read the book through in one sitting because I had to know what happened. Well worth the time to listen to the audiobook.

I found this to be a really fun read. I really liked the characters, or really didn't like the ones that weren't likable. And, I felt Jude stole the show. There were parts here and there that hovered on the line of realistic, but were definitely possible. But, the story flowed very well.
And, the narration?! This was my first Aaron Shedlock listen and I was very impressed. His female voice was amazing, his characterizations spot on, and he was just totally engaged. He pulled you in right from the beginning. And, he has a very nice voice to listen to. Having a great voice and knowing how to use it is narrator gold. I am definitely a fan. Although the description made me wonder if this was a dark book, it wasn't by any means. It was light and fun for the most part, but not so much so that it would be total fluff. I totally enjoyed it.
