Summary

Kobna Holdbrook-Smith joins Robin Morgan in the Audible Studio to talk about the experience of narrating an audiobook. As well as an actor with prolific work on stage, screen and television, Kobna is one of your favourite audiobook narrators - you might recognise his voice from some of Ben Aaronovich's novels, for example. He's here to talk about the power of narration, how it differs from other forms of work and much more.

Kobna Holdbrooke-Smith is the gold standard.

This is a lovely interview but we didn't need it to see the amount of work the narrator puts in to the performance of each book, the effort shines in his readings. I'm dyslexic and audio books are my main way of interacting with fiction and the quality of Kobna's perfomrances are what I want from all talking-books.
