OK but not inspiring
I previously learned German using Michel Thomas, and was very happy with that course. However Michel Thomas does little to expand your vocabulary or "get your ear in", so I thought I would try this one.
It serves that purpose well enough, but as a way of starting to learn German I strongly recommend starting with Michel Thomas or Paul Noble because they are great at helping you to learn the structure of the language.
In this course the dialogues tend to be unrealistic which admittedly is partly due to this being a beginners course, but coupled with the male narrators tendency to mumble both english and german I find myself constantly irritated.
