Good content, not particularly animated reading

Interesting stories and articles but not overly engaging reading. Not read by Branson as the description suggests.

Interesting enough to keep me listening

Any additional comments?

I'm pleased I bough the book and enjoyed listening to it even though some of it is a bit of a Richard Branson/Virgin advert. Worth a listen though.

Shame it isn't Richard Branson narrating it

The book is very good but sadly the narrator is about as far removed from the sound of Richard Branson as you could imagine - he sounds like a sort of slowed down and deflated Clive James - who thought an Australian accent would be a good idea? If you can get over the sound of the narrator the content is good and you can try and imagine it in your mind as the great man himself would.

Same Story, different title

Would you try another book written by Richard Branson or narrated by Adrian Mulraney?

The narration is top class, and the best bit about this book

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I'd cut out the name checks and repetition from other books. He has a BRILLIANT story to tell, and I love it, but it was all in the first couple of books - thereafter it's just the same re scrambled, like a scratched record (Ironic that!)

What does Adrian Mulraney bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

He brings the book to life, and for me, spending a lot of time in the car, I need to have a book read to me and the narrator can make or break my connection with the content. Adrian is one of the VERY best!

If this book were a film would you go see it?

All of hos books make ONE film, and I'd see that ONE film

Any additional comments?

Just stick to the first books, and don't wast money/credits on this.

Ok but nothing new

If you have read/listened to the other Branson books then there won't be much new in here for you.

Won’t be raving about it

Found it a generally positive and uplifting read but it is repetitive due to the style of the book - answering questions from around the world - the same examples keep cropping up

Don't listen whilst driving

What disappointed you about Like a Virgin?

Narrator had a very monotone voice -didn't keep me engaged

How could the performance have been better?

I thought it was going to be narrated by Richard Branson -hopefully he might have made it a little more interesting

You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Don't know if it was just the narrator but it definitely didn't live up to expectations

Any additional comments?

This has put me off reading/listening to any other books by Branson
