Disappointing

Claiming this book to be Girl on a Train meets Gone Girl sets really high expectations, and unfortunately this book just doesn't meet them. The plot is too rushed in places and drags in others, and I felt the narrators voice very hard to pay attention to, often losing track of what was being said or which character was talking.

Struggled with this one

I don't normally write reviews but having just finished this title and being totally underwhelmed by it i felt compelled.

I don't think I can blame the narrator as she can only work with what is given, her range of voices and delivery of the story was fine however it was very hard to follow in some parts when different people were being swapped between.

The story it's self was a constant lul vs ups and downs and the ending felt like it was an afterthought.

It's given me 10 hours of entertainment when I would otherwise be bored when driving but not one I would listen to again.

Not for me ....

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

The story slowly unfolded rather than sped along at any speed and everything was predictable, nothing came as a surprise at all.
