Summary

Listeners of Sophie Turner's more chaste Constant Love series should be aware that this novel contains decidedly adult content at certain parts of the story.

One night, to decide his entire life's happiness.

Chastened by Charles Bingley following Mr. Bennet's untimely death, Fitzwilliam Darcy determines he will offer marriage to Elizabeth Bennet, but she marries another.

Years later, a widowed Elizabeth is mistress of Longbourn, and has vowed she will never marry again. A house party at Netherfield brings them back together, but Darcy will have to win more than her heart if he is to have any chance at making her mistress of Pemberley.

Darcy with spice

This is certainly an adult variation but is not lewd or coarse. It would have done better with a different narrator who I found too prissy.

Tastefully steamy!

A very different plot variation, with Elizabeth having initially married Mr Collins. I enjoyed it, although it perhaps would have been improved by greater inclusion of the usual minor characters, who relative absence I felt was notable (eg., Lady Catherine, Georgiana, etc).
It is definitely the most sexually explicit variation I’ve ‘read’, but all such content was as tasteful as such matter can be and didn’t feel too gratuitous; indeed I have to confess to rather enjoying feeling “let in” to Darcy and Elizabeth’s most private moments.
The narrator has a particular style that is rather formal and might not be to everyone’s taste, but I liked it. I shall definitely listen again!
