My Big TOE, written by a nuclear physicist in the language of contemporary culture, unifies science and philosophy, physics and metaphysics, mind and matter, purpose and meaning, the normal and the paranormal. The entirety of human experience (mind, body, and spirit) including both our objective and subjective worlds is brought together under one seamless scientific understanding.
Book 3: Inner Workings
Section 5 presents the formal reality model in detail. In this section, the mechanics of reality are explained. You will find out how the past, present and future are formed, how they can be altered, and how you interact with the larger reality as an individuated unit of consciousness. Here you will find an explanation of inter and intra dimensional awareness and the theoretical possibilities of teleportation, time travel as a few of the more fun ramifications of this reality model are probed.
Section 6 provides the wrap-up that puts everything discussed into an easily understood perspective. Additionally, Section 6 points out My Big TOE's relationship with contemporary science and philosophy. By demonstrating a close conceptual relationship between this TOE and some of the establishment's biggest scientific and philosophic intellectual guns, Section 6 integrates My Big TOE into traditional Western science and philosophy.

Road to enlightenment begins here

This book is best one in the trilogy, and leaves you feeling sad that the series has come to an end. I would highly recommend this book to others searching for truth and enlightenment.

Written out of a love for mankind . . .

I don't recall anywhere specifically in this book that the author states that this book was written out of a love for mankind. But, there is an undercurrent, or maybe it's more like a carrier wave of a higher vibration, like love, that runs throughout this book, underlying all the information he gives us. Or, that is just my perception.

This information is given to people to help them understand concepts like consciousness - making the right choices - that we have to do the work ourselves. By a better understanding of how the whole Reality system works we can make choices where we evolve, or increase our awareness, or improve our consciousness. Or we can make choices where we devolve.

In any game, wouldn't a player do better if he understood the gameboard's layout, rules, how points are earned, and had some insight into successful strategies?

Thankfully, this third part of the audio version of the massive 3-in-1-volume paperback has come out. For some reason I just could not get through the paperback version. Sentences had to be reread over and over again and I had trouble concentrating on these new concepts. Plus, the book itself weighs about 2.5 lbs and my wrist would ache from holding the book. In this third audio section of My Big TOE the author reviews some concepts from Books One and Two, in case anyone is reading just Book Three, and continues to develop and fine tune information introduced previously. Also, near the end are some really great and applicable quotes from great minds - basically what I got out of the quotes is that people need to be more open-minded about considering, examining and thinking about new or different types of information. Not to shut down before even looking at different ideas or sources.

The audio version is great because the author's voice is easy to listen to, it's intelligent, warm, and light hearted.

I'm currently reading various books on Out of Body experiences by different authors. I loved Robert Monroe's books and reread them. Tom Campbell worked with Robert Monroe to help get his laboratory set up in the early 70s. Tom Campbell gave an interesting talk at The Monroe Institute on his early days with Robert Monroe recalling those days (search youtube), but it was also in Book One of My Big TOE's trilogy that Tom Campbell added more interesting information on those early days with Robert Monroe, as well as his own unique experiences in childhood. In Book Three of the My Big TOE trilogy there is even more interesting self revelation done by Tom Campbell with regard to his relationship to The Big Cheese (a humorous title to an organizational administrator for the area in the big picture reality that we earthlings are).

Many of the other authors who write about Out of Body experiences will share specific experiences, one after the other. Some even categorize them into similar types and discuss their meanings or interpretations.

Tom Campbell has been criticized on a few OBE related forums by people who want him to share his personal experiences in Non Physical Matter Reality. I would love to know them too. Mr Campbell is one of the most experienced and advanced (and powerful?) OBE practitioners that is also an author, yet won't write about his OBE work and experiences in the non physical, and with over 30 years of OBE, he could probably write a book bigger than My Big TOE about his experiences. But, I respect his explanation that it would be a distraction from his work that is presented here in My Big TOE - which is basically (to me) a guidebook to this game of life we are in. His big picture of our whole reality (physical and non-physical) lays out this multi-dimensional game board we are on. And, from My Big TOE I get a better sense of how to live this life, how to be a better person, and who, what, where, and why I am.

The other authors who write about their OBE experiences will have to fulfill the curiosity for readers who want OBE descriptions and adventures told. For an audio version, so far the audio books by Marilynn Hughes on Audible will give detailed descriptions of OBE experiences. But, the work of Tom Campbell is the polar opposite of Marilynn Hughes in that his book is a more scientific or technical experience and Marilynn Hughes is very religious or mystical in how she shares her OBE experiences. I am able to use My Big TOE in many ways to improve my life while what I learned from Marilynn Hughes was partially helpful to learn more about the astral, but more fulfilling to curiosity than applicable to life.

There was one very interesting part of Marilynn Hughes' audio book, near the beginning of one of her audio books, where she says there was a physicist at the same event ( a religious vision she was in ) and I wondered if it was Tom Campbell. (this was either her book Mysteries of The Redemption or Galactica.) As related in her book, she wasn't too happy with the presence of the physicist.

Back to Tom Campbell . . . If you've ever attended a 2- or 3-day workshop anywhere you understand the costs involved. Often the workshop costs money, then there's gas or plane tickets, food because you aren't at home, and hotel costs. On Youtube Tom Campbell has his own channel with over 200 videos. Some of those are various workshops he has held the past few years and they are available for free. There are various lectures and many interviews - all for free. If you are interested in OBE in particular, the one in Ireland focuses on that. For someone who can't afford the 838 page paperback trilogy, it's available on Google as a pdf. As Tom Campbell says in his trilogy at one point, he *could* go into marketing how to items, but he hasn't and the book and the many hours of youtube videos are available for free.

This also adds to my perception that My Big TOE is a work done out of a love for humankind. (But, the audible versions of this trilogy are worth paying for.)

What's in the My Big TOE is not exactly the same as what's on Youtube - it's very focused on describing how this Consciousness system that Tom Campbell figured out in over 30 years of OBE explorations works. Because of his scientific mind and methods, the explanation or map or history of Consciousness he gives becomes a guidebook to reality - a much larger reality than most of us realize. If there was a map with a "You Are Here" arrow, it would be pointing at a microscopic speck representing physical Earth.

I enjoy Tom Campbell's many Youtube videos because the workshop graphics are helpful, and the healing and remote viewing exercises are fun and interesting. But this audio book is fantastic as an organized explanation of consciousness and a bigger reality. It's different from a lecture in that the book has been worked and reworked. There were deep idea paragraphs where I had to rewind and listen again - the sentences need focus, concentration, and some mulling over to absorb. Tom Campbell is an excellent teacher and the concepts he is presenting are interesting. I read in a review of My Big TOE, probably on Amazon, that this book is "life changing." I agree.

Tom Campbell is Brilliant!

I will continue to read this trilogy year after year. This is a BIG T.O.E. for sure, but existence finally makes sense to me... I hope you can digest the concepts presented in these books - you will never look at life the same.
