Summary

Ein grauer Novembertag in Nordfriesland. Hauptkommissar John Benthien von der Flensburger Kripo bearbeitet einen bizarren Fall: Bei Niebüll wurde ein Mann auf die Gleise gefesselt und vom Zug überrollt. Wenig später erhält die Polizei ein Foto des Opfers mit der Aufschrift SCHULDIG. Ein Racheakt, vermutet Benthien.

Die Ermittlungen führen ihn auf die Insel Föhr, in eine exzentrische Künstlerkommune. Dort schlägt der Mörder erneut zu. Wer steckt hinter den Morden? Ist es einer der Künstler? Privat hat Benthien ebenfalls Sorgen: In seinem Haus auf Sylt scheint ein Geist umzugehen...
